Show Brand Package for Leader’s Debate


A distinctive broadcast show package was crafted for the 2023 Leaders Debate, a pivotal event leading up to New Zealand's general election. Featuring a showdown between Christopher Luxon, Leader of the Opposition, and Christopher Hipkins, the Prime Minister, this debate stood as the apex of political discourse, showcasing the top two candidates vying for the nation's leadership.

Our design approach embraced a cinematic flair, evoking an epic clash between these formidable leaders, heightened by immersive visuals and captivating audio. The use of glass materials symbolized the transparency central to their political dialogue, emphasizing openness and accountability.

I lead the creation of the dynamic Supertease opening graphic with Todd which transitions into Kasun's title sequence, setting the stage for the intensity of the debate. Additionally, I curated the entire package, encompassing baselines, wipes, slates, set banners, screen elements and all digital and social content, ensuring a cohesive and impactful presentation.
