Newshub Brand Refresh 2023

Newshub delivers the latest global news, keeping viewers informed and connected to impactful stories that resonate with New Zealanders. We explore diverse perspectives objectively, prioritising trust and upholding journalistic integrity.

The brand's visual redesign complements its updated voice, with visuals tailored to enhance its identity. Inspired by sleek, modern design, the palette features graphite tones with iconic Newshub red and grey accents.

I lead the design and implementation of Newshub's sports package and full-frame templates. The sport’s visuals maintain the brand's cohesive look while offering a distinct dynamic appeal, using dark charcoal shades with hints of purples and blues for a premium feel, alongside the iconic Newshub red.

The Full-frame templates include animated lists, statistics, quotes, phoners, graphs, polls, tables, maps, and PTC graphics. Each design ensures information is easily digestible, maintaining a premium aesthetic suitable for various story contexts, while also being easy to use for quick turnarounds during breaking news.
